These guides are geared at buyers of luxury handbags and sold by people who consider themselves to be experts on the bags in question. The most important thing I have learned from reading some of these guides is that very often the writer simply did not know much about the items in question at all! In fact, while reading some of them, I got the distinct impression that they were “written” simply by copying and pasting the advice of many knowledgeable people who shared their expertise on the Clothing, Shoes & Accessories boards for free (myself included).
